Martin Custom Shop Style 28 M-14 Flamed Koa

This is an incredible custom shop guitar that Dylan ordered while visiting the Martin factory in September of 2025. Given the diversity of looks among Koa sets, he decided that the best way to take advantage of being able to actually choose the timber used before ordering was to rifle through their whole-body sets of "Exceptional Broad Figure Koa", choosing the one that looked the best.

As a hard wood, Dylan also thought it best that we opt for a bigger body shape to get that nice loud folky tone, but he's more of a fan of the OM style body shape rather than the classic Dreadnought - so the unusual M-14 shape ended up the choice, resulting in the best of both worlds.
