Semi-hollowbody construction
The Alex Lifeson 1976 ES-355 Reissue features a body crafted from layered maple and poplar and equipped with a solid maple centre block. The combination results in a highly resonant guitar with some of the tonal properties of a thin line hollow body guitar coupled with the sustain and feedback resistance of a solid body, delivering the best of both worlds.

Three-piece maple neck and ebony fretboard
The neck features a Slim C profile and is crafted from three pieces of maple, and has a volute near the headstock, delivering historical accuracy and increased strength. The ebony fretboard contributes clarity, snap, and a luxurious playing feel.

The Alex Lifeson 1976 ES-355 Reissue is equipped with Gibson USA T-Type humbucker™ pickups that deliver authentic 70s-era tone. They’re paired with high-quality CTS® potentiometers, Switchcraft® pickup selector switch and output jack, and Mallory™ tone capacitors for premium electronics throughout the guitar.
