Ibanez J Custom RG8870CM BTZ

The Ibanez RG8870CM-BTZ is a premium Axe Design Lab RG J.Custom electric guitar that combines refined Japanese craftsmanship with striking visual appeal and high-performance specifications. Finished in Blue Topaz, this model features a beautifully figured 4 mm Japanese Horse Chestnut top over an African Mahogany body, delivering an elegant look alongside a rich and resonant tonal foundation.

Built for speed and precision, the RG8870CM-BTZ features an RG j.custom Super Wizard AS 5-piece Maple/Wenge neck designed for fast, fluid playability. Its Rosewood fretboard is adorned with the iconic Tree of Life inlay, while 24 jumbo frets with j.custom fret edge treatment provide a smooth, comfortable feel for technical playing, bending, and lead work.

The pickup configuration combines a DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary neck humbucker, a DiMarzio True Velvet middle single-coil, and a DiMarzio The Tone Zone bridge humbucker. This HSH setup delivers a wide tonal range, from warm, expressive neck tones and clear middle-position textures through to powerful, articulate bridge sounds. A 5-way pickup selector and coil tap switch expand the tonal versatility even further.

An Ibanez Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge provides expressive pitch control with the stable feel and precision expected from a high-end performance instrument. Chrome hardware completes the premium aesthetic, while a hardshell case is included for secure protection and transport.
