GAIN - adjusts overall gain in the preamp

DRIVE - sets the character of the distortion.  Set low for vintage '60s gain, middle setting will yield more '70s bark, and high settings will have modern levels of gain.  This control works in the power section and some scratchy sounds may happen when adjusted, this is normal.

HI - sets the treble and upper mids

MID - think of this as an overactive midrange control,  from 0-5 it acts as a normal amp midrange, above noon it begins to bypass the eq for a flatter response.

LO - sets the tightness of the bass frequencies,  turn past noon for a woolier, fatter, vintage tone,  below noon for tighter modern sounds.

• EQ - These are subtle controls that change the tones of the MID control and will be most evident with the MID at noon or lower

DECADE KNOB - this adjusts the midrange frequency resoponse of the MID control.  60's setting will be more scooped and bassy, 70's will be more tight and crunchy.

VINT/MOD Switch -  VINTAGE setting will be a thinner treble with more mid scoop,  MOD setting will have more upper mids and crunch.
